Graham Birkenhead
Graham is a business excellence focused senior manager and internal consultant with an engineering background. A former officer in the Royal Air Force, he is a creative thinker and dynamic innovator with considerable experience in leading and managing teams, especially in an environment of rapid change.
He has a passion for teaching, educating and sharing knowledge and understanding. Graham has lectured at Masters level, and led numerous workshops and training events on diverse subjects such as leadership, networking, lean thinking, and knowledge management. He has a broad range of consultancy skills, from analysis to implementation, with emphasis on applying lean and systems thinking to logistics and business processes. Graham has a keen interest in creating win-win situations and sustainable change through people development.
Bill Bradford
Bill Bradford has extensive international experience in all aspects of human resource management with emphasis on organization development, performance management and leadership development. He has worked in Great Britain, France, Japan, Spain, Turkey, the U.S. and Canada.
He began his consulting career as a compensation consultant with Mercer where he worked on major projects for Bell, Air Canada, CN and a wide range of public and private sector clients.
While living in the UK for 10 years, he had ongoing learning and development responsibilities with a number of investment and retail banks including Royal Bank of Scotland, National Westminster Bank and Barclays Bank. Bill served as Human Resource Director of a business finance division of Barclays Bank where he had total responsibility for the concept, design and implementation of a competency based, multi-source feedback performance management process. He has played a strategic HR role in a number of international merger and acquisition transactions.
Among his most demanding assignments were the design and management of a four-year culture change initiative for Mazda Cars in Europe and an 18-month assignment working with the UK partners of KPMG in achieving a highly successful project in organization development with critical outcomes in structure, partner roles, governance and decision making.
His PMC White Paper on Competency Models and Performance Management has received very positive peer comment.
Bill is an experienced practitioner who combines intellectual integrity with common sense. He is experienced in organizational change and can engage constructively at all levels.
Richard Casavant
Richard has a BA in psychology and sociology, and a PhD in psychology with a specialization in organizational development. He is a certified trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a certified instructor in Constructive Management, and a certified trainer specialist and facilitator. He completed training in negotiation, mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) with the University Of Windsor Faculty Of Law and completed Professional Certification in Executive Coaching at Royal Roads University. He is a member of the International Coach Federation. He has completed trainer’s certification in Emotional Intelligence with Learning in Action, Inc. and trainer training in the Leadership Challenge™.
After a career in radio and television broadcasting in Quebec and Ontario, Richard served as departmental director at the Ontario Arts Council as well as special advisor to the Ontario government in the areas of the arts and government relations with Québec and France. He has been a Faculty member of one college and two universities at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Richard served on the Board of provincial and national organizations in the arts, publishing, health and adult education. He is president of the International Association for Constructive LivingTM.
Pierre Couture
Pierre Couture has 40 years experience in the field of public communications. During his career in the public service, Pierre acted as advisor in communications to senior management of many federal departments, and planned and conducted several nation-wide information and social marketing campaigns.
For five years he acted as communications course director at L’École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP) as part of its Master Degree curriculum in Public Administration. He has served as a course instructor in communications and administrative writing for the Canada School of Public Service for the past 12 years.
Alexandra Hendriks
Alexandra Hendriks is a senior consultant specializing in organization development, strategic change management, strategic planning, focus group facilitation, executive interviewing, research, evaluation, training and strategic communications.
Alexandra holds a PhD in Philosophy (Communication and Program Evaluation) as well as a Masters in Science in Organizational Communication and Research. She is a part time professor at the University of Ottawa. Alexandra has worked in a number of non-profit and government organizations, including as a Senior Organization Development consultant at Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
Alexandra has designed and facilitated numerous teambuilding retreats, developed employee engagement programs and lead program evaluation projects. She has a warm, easygoing manner that puts individuals at ease and encourages their active participation.
David Jones
David Jones is a dynamic adult educator with extensive training, facilitation, keynote speaking and coaching experience in North America and Europe. He is a strong experiential learning program designer who is certified in needs analysis and program evaluation methodologies. Participants in his workshops appreciate his empathy, humour, flexibility and energy. His clients report that he gets results: the sessions he designs, facilitates and manages on their behalf are positive, inspiring experiences that stimulate desired changes and outputs. David is the co-founder of PassionWorks! Inc. and Discover Training Inc. and the author of “PassionWorks! Your Guide to Passion in the Modern Workplace”.
David G. Jones
David G. Jones is a management consultant who specializes in issues related to Knowledge Management, governance, leadership and accountability. David regularly works with clients in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors. He holds an M.A. from Dalhousie University, and has done graduate study at the Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS) and the Nova Scotia School of Architecture. David is program advisor to Royal Roads University School of Science, Technology and Environment – Knowledge Management Program.
Micheline Lesage
Micheline Lesage is a fully bilingual senior executive with 28 years of experience in the non-profit and federal public sector in Canada. In her capacity as Director of the Arts Division at the Canada Council for the Arts she successfully developed strategic and operational plans; modernized a wide range of national policies; directed a team responsible for sixty national funding programs; worked extensively with cultural and language minorities and Aboriginal people; and oversaw innovative policy agreements and partnerships with various provincial and federal departments, including crowns corporations.
Micheline co-authors and participates in national studies, facilitates consultative processes in both official languages, and provides public and private sector employees with management and competency training.
Micheline is involved in the design, delivery and facilitation of values and ethics workshops in both French and English. She is a member of EPAC, the Ethics Practitioner’s Association of Canada. Micheline received her MBA from HEC Montreal.
Bill Stewart
Bill Stewart is a strategy-focused consultant and experienced instructor and facilitator. He is a seasoned practitioner with hands-on experience in project and technical management, engineering, systems integration and architecture, training and open source systems.
Bill has a PhD in Computer Science and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has a deep understanding of best practices in project management, having served in a variety of roles in projects ranging from $2M to $20M.
He was project manager on the Canadian Forces Health Information System and deputy project manager on the Electronic Warfare Control Analysis Centre. He has served as subsystem lead, systems architect and other roles in projects such as the Canadian Forces Supply System Upgrade and the Naval Integrated Support System. Bill also established and managed the first Canadian Forces base computing centre, located at CFB Gagetown and supporting 4500 personnel. Bill regularly delivers courses on Project Management and IT Project Management.
Anne Watkins
Anne Watkins holds a Masters degree from Simon Fraser University, together with professional qualifications in management, marketing and human resource training and development. She is a qualified and experienced trainer, and holds a UK National Award for her work in training.
For 12 years Anne worked as director for a UK business school and management centre. She developed customized training interventions for over 200 corporate clients, and has designed and delivered personally a range of training workshops to public and private sector organizations in business communications, customer care, training and development and the fundamentals of management.
